I saw a blue screen with white text and something about a file dump or something to that effect and then I pressed cancel and the desktop goes black. This isn't the first time this happened.(i'm pretty sure it some type of malware) and every other time this happened I could boot it up again and it won't be fine. but this time I did that and I got to the Inspiron screen with the blue bar and the blue bar got to about the halfway point when the screen goes black and the computer tries to boot up again the bar reaches the same point then cuts to black and tries again. It does this on an unending loop. I don't know if it is a no POST problem or a no BOOT problem or even a no POWER problem. PLEASE SOMEONE ANYONE HELP ME I NEED THIS COMPUTER TO WORK AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't log in, probably have to system restore
Hello,
Yesterday I called Dell because my computer was not booting up properly. I would only see a black screen and the computer would simply turn off and on. Sometimes it would boot up, usually after removing the battery and holding the power button down for 15 seconds to "drain residual power."
So the IT guy connected me to fastsupport.com, a remote control site and downloaded superantispyware.com And found 10 viruses and a host of other problems including a diminished fire wall and problems related to booting up. I thought this was great and happily paid $130 to get my laptop fixed. He connected me to a technician and that's when things went down hill.
The technician change some settings and asked me to reboot my computer and upon doing so, I was not able to log back in. The technician tried many maneuvers including taking out the battery and asked me to run a diagnostics yet through the bios but nothing worked. He then insisted I system restore but I have some information on my laptop I would rather not use so I said no and asked for my money back, which I felt bad about.
Any suggestions on how to avoids system restore? It is a dell latitude e7450 purchased in March

Windows Basic Serial on computer tower but Windows Home premium CD
Hi ,
I have a Dell Inspiron 660s . My hard disk crashed and dell support suggested i install a new hard disk . After installing the new hard disk i tried installing the windows OS .When i tried to put the serial key , it said it was invalid . When i tried contacting Windows for help , they said since the windows is an OEM version i have to talk to the dell people . Needed help in understanding what needs to be done in order to fix the issue . The sticker on the desktop tower says Home Basic while the cd provided by dell is home premium.

Dell is refusing to fix my product key
I've had my Dell laptop for 3 years or so. I just got a new SSD and decided to reformat Windows 7 as well. I did that with the Dell DVD, and windows is telling me that it is not genuine. I called Microsoft, and they told me that Dell has blocked my Product Key.
So I called Dell, and was transferred around for an hour because my warranty has expired. Long story short, they told me my Windows dvd was corrupt, and are sending me a new one. I highly doubt that is the case, as Microsoft confirmed everything was working properly, it's just Dell has blocked my Product Key for some reason. Dell will not even tell me why unless I pay them $129 dollars. Why would I pay that much when I can just buy a new copy of windows for cheaper than that? Why would Dell block my product key for a laptop I bought and paid for, and expect to work? Why should I have to pay them for something that I didn't do?

Hello everyone! I bought a Dell i14 3442-D10 and it has Linux installed on it. Linux is not a nice OS to run all the programs that I want. Why did I buy a Laptop with Linux? Because I didn't see that it was Linux, I thought it was Windows 10.
My question is: Can my BIOS handle, without lost any functions or communication with drivers, Windows 10 or Windows 7? Please, I need a right question and clear, I'm desperate...
I didn't find any answer to my question on internet, just BIOS manual and specifications and I looked on this forum also, please help me... Thank!

Yes, I'm so stupid. But I have a very important question: Can my BIOS handle, working perfectly, Windows 10? I want it because I liked the laptop hardware.(Laptop important informations below).

Windows vista home basic installation disk
I am working on a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop. I installed a new 500 GB hard drive and need to do a install of Windows vista home basic. I have the product sticker with product key on bottom of the laptop. I do not have the installation disk and windows vista cam preinstalled.
I purchased a installation disk from EBay ...that was a joke....tried everything! Downloaded a ISO file but do not know how to convert it to make it a bootable disk. Called Dell support as well as Microsoft and they do not sell the vista version of windows or supply back up copies.
I can't see purchasing a new copy for $50 or $60. I might as well purchase a windows 7 copy.
Are there any suggestions as to what to do?

where do i find download disc for monitor ST2220LB a 21.5"
I have a 4 yr old Dell monitor 21.5" in size. Works super . I just had to upgrade to the 27" this last week because of my eyes. I need a larger screen.
I bought this original monitor with the Dell desk top as a set but I dont see the disk if there was evenone at the time when I bought the set from Dell.
If I give the monitor to any one , where can I get a download from Dells site if any is needed to get this monitor to work on another pc. ? My monitor is a ST2220LB. And it uses VGA cable.

win 7 starting problem

let me describe my problem, hopefully someone can help.
I formated my Dell latitude E6420 last week a instaled windows 7 on it. After that i instal drivers from dell page: www.dell.com/.../advanced
Last thing i instaled was: Dell Latitude E6420 System BIOS, after that my system restarted and now it cant start windows. Every time i start PC, it says: BIOS revision A07,there is waiting bar, whitch goes completed and then after few moment it starts again, but windows never shows up. I tryed einstal windows, but it didnt help.

UEFI PXE boot - problems with Legacy ROMs
We are changing to Windows 10 from windows 7.
At the same time we move from Legacy to UEFI boot.
We do so using PXE boot.
However, when we have Legacy ROMs disabled, we get a BSOD when booting to WinPE x64.
I tried to include all drivers for the devices, but that did not help.
When I turn on Legacy ROMs but still boot from PXE (IPV4) I do not get the BSOD.
Why? And how can I fix this?

Bitlocker Network Unlock - Not working on reboot at some Dell Devices
We turned on Bitlocker Network unlock recently.
It works fine on all machines we have for booting (we only have Dell's).
However on some machines it does not work when rebooting.
This holds for the XE2 as well as the Precision T1700.
When I boot the network unlock does work, when I reboot it asks for the Bitlocker PIN.
Any clue how to solve this?

DELL OPTIPLEX GX280 FREE REBOOT SITE
I have an old dell optiplex it has some upgrades to it but i need a free boot disc or a site to get it from. It has WINDOWS XP PRO. Even if it is A "ISO" image just need to know how to use it.
